We recently moved to Missouri from Colorado for reasons outside of our business. After settling back into our lives a little, we proceeded to get ThatWitchyPlace.com registered as a business in this state.

The state of Missouri has such out-dated and anti-small business policies that they require three months of taxes from estimated sales before they will even issue our retail license.

It has taken a lot out of us to move 800 miles, and this was something that didn't turn up in research before we moved. Doom on us, I guess.

Anyways, this just means that the store is closed for a little longer than expected, I'm hoping we can just get it all squared away and start fresh some time around Samhain.
